Behind the name Faaborg are father (Viggo) and son (Kai) Nielsen, who settled in the small town of Faaborg after their time with Bari. This pipe - like all Nielsen pipes - is a handmade one-off. The shape is reminiscent of a volcano, the grain shows the care with which the Nielsens select their bowls and the acrylic mouthpiece is reminiscent of amber. Danish pipe design at its very best, absolutely worth collecting.
