The Vauen Jahrespfeife 2003 has an even but lively grain. The bowl rim is stained a light colour.
If annual pipes are to be characterised by a special design, then Vauen has succeeded with this pipe:
A fine rustication runs from the base of the pipe to the stem and ends in a wide, grooved silver ring. This is half covered by an elaborately crafted mouthpiece.
