This Freehand by Hans "Former" Nielsen is a pipe that can hardly be made better. A wonderfully balanced design with a Bryere wood without a flaw. Perfect Straight Graim unite with Birdseye at the head rim and at the bottom.
There is no need to say a word about the finish of Former.
The reason why we offer this pipe for less than € 500 instead of well over € 1,000 is under the silver olive on the stem: a tiny hairline crack at the end of the stem. Hans Nielsen would never forgive us for a glued crack, but we could not bring ourselves to shorten the stem.
Also haben wir eine Silberolive aufgesetzt. Die Pfeife ist in der Form erhalten, funktioniert einwandfrei, auf der Strecke geblieben ist lediglich die Prägung. Auch ohne Kennzeichnung bleibt es eine echte Former.
